Kids Holiday Plant & Art Workshop –Wera Plants

Looking for fun and creative school holiday activities for kids in Western Sydney? Our 3-day Kids Holiday Plant & Art Workshop is the perfect mix of hands-on learning, creativity, and nature play. Designed for children aged 5–12, this engaging program combines art, gardening, and science to inspire curiosity and creativity. Each session is 1.5 hours, filled with exciting projects, interactive learning, and something special to take home every day.

Day 1 – Plant & Paint Party ??(30th of September 10am)

“Get messy, get creative, get planting!”
Kids kick off the holiday adventure by unleashing their creativity:

• Paint & decorate their own colourful plant pot

• Learn how to plant and care for a succulent

• Try leaf stamping to make fun, nature-inspired prints
  Take home: A hand-painted pot with a living succulent + stamped artwork

Day 2 – Magical Mini Worlds & Plant Science ??(1st of October 10am)

“Tiny worlds, big discoveries!”
A day full of wonder and science fun:

• Build a magical closed terrarium filled with moss, soil, and ornaments

• Watch how plants “drink” water with a capillary experiment

• Create leaf and flower prints for their nature journals
  Take home: A mini terrarium + leaf/flower print keepsakes

Day 3 – Seeds of Creativity ??️ (2nd of October 10am)

“Grow, paint, and play your way home!”
The grand finale blends nature with art:

• Plant fast-growing seeds in decorated pots and learn how to care for them

• Paint a plant-inspired canvas to bring nature’s colours to life

• Decorate their pots with garden markers or stamps
  Take home: A decorated seed pot + plant-inspired canvas painting

✨ By the end of the 3 days, kids will become junior plant keepers and little artists, with a collection of living creations and artworks they can proudly say “I made this!”
