Workshop 1 – Suncatcher and pressed flower bookmark

Sunshine, flowers, and creativity—just for kids!
Let your child step into a world of wonder and creativity at our floral kids’ workshop. In this fun, hands-on session, they’ll create magical sun catchers using pressed flowers, colourful ribbons, and a whole lot of imagination. Children will also design their own pressed flower bookmarks using real blooms, leaves, beautiful paper, and ribbons. A lovely way to blend creativity with nature, this activity helps kids slow down and create something meaningful.
Perfect for crafty kids aged 5–12, this 2 hour workshop blends art, nature, and play. They’ll learn about different flowers, and leave with a beautiful bookmark and a gorgeous sun catcher to hang in a sunny window at home.

Workshop 2 – Nature Wall Hanging/Mobile
12pm – 2pm
Nature, creativity and fun-just for kids!
Children will explore shape, balance, and texture as they create their own hanging nature mobile using dried flowers, seed pods, feathers, ribbons, yarn and twine. A creative, calming workshop that results in a beautiful, moving artwork to hang at home.

With over 25 years of experience as a teacher and a lifelong love of flowers, I bring a deep passion for creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences to every workshop I run. After a long and rewarding career in education, I followed my heart into floristry, founding Blossom and Blaze Floral as a space where artistry and nature meet.
My workshops are grounded in the same values that have always guided me: care, creativity, and community.
