Looking for unique things to do in Melbourne? Learn how to make Incense!
This immersive experience allows you to connect with traditional practices of Chinese incense making passed down through generations.
Start by selecting your favourite scent from three exquisite options: sandalwood, floral and cypress. You'll then learn to blend these aromatic scents with a special binder (also with coffee powder) to create your own unique incense mixture.
Under the guidance of skilled artisans, you'll master the use of an incense gun to craft delicate incense sticks, discover the techniques behind shaping a tower incense or incense flake (with coffee flavour) and learn how to make your own incense holder (with coffee elements). This hands-on workshop not only teaches you the skills but also delves into the cultural significance behind each step.
At the end of the session, you will take home your freshly made incense sticks, tower incense or flake insence to dry. Once dried, you can light your creations in the incense holder you crafted, filling your space with a fragrance that is soothing to your senses.
