
A confidence-building, high-quality mathematics competition designed to challenge young minds and reward accuracy, focus, and problem-solving.
This tournament is created for primary school students who enjoy thinking, reasoning, and tackling increasingly challenging maths questions in a fair, supportive environment.
Participants compete individually in their own school-year division, ensuring fair and age-appropriate competition.
Open to primary school students in three divisions:
• Year 1–2
• Year 3–4
• Year 5–6
Each child competes only within their own age group.
This is a 60-minute written mathematics tournament.
• Total Questions: 40
• Questions increase in difficulty across four sections
• No calculators, notes or electronic devices allowed
Children will complete the paper independently in a supervised competition room.
Questions are grouped into four sections with increasing difficulty:

• Marks are awarded only for correct answers
• No negative marking
This rewards both foundational skills and higher-level problem solving.
1️⃣ Total Score
Students are ranked by their total marks.
Higher scores always rank above lower scores.
2️⃣ Time Taken (Tie-Breaker Only)
If two students have the same score, the faster submission ranks higher.
Time is measured from the official start until the paper is handed in.
• Students may submit their paper before the 60-minute limit
• Once submitted, answers cannot be changed
• Time stops immediately upon submission
• No talking or copying
• Any form of cheating may result in disqualification
• Organizers’ decisions are final
To recognize effort, achievement, and excellence, prizes will be awarded across five categories:
• 1st Prize
• 2nd Prize
• 3rd Prize
• 4th Prize
• 5th Prize
• Participation Certificates for all competitors
(Award criteria are determined by the organisers.)
To ensure fairness and independence:
• Parents and guardians are NOT permitted inside the competition room
• The room is supervised by official invigilators
• Parents may wait in designated waiting areas outside
Once the competition has started:
Parents and guardians are NOT permitted
Refund requests will be accepted only if made at least 7 days before the event start date.
