🎤 Beyond Storytelling & Public Speaking – How It Works

A TED-style children’s speaking showcase designed to build confidence, curiosity, and expressive thinking — without pressure, ranking or competition.

This is a performance-based learning experience, where children are encouraged to step on stage, share their ideas, and experience what it feels like to be heard.

Each child performs once on stage for 5 minutes.

👧 Storytelling (5–8 years old)

Children may tell a story they prepared at home or create one live on stage.

This session helps children:

• develop imagination and narrative thinking

• practice clear communication

• gain confidence speaking in front of others

Children may speak with or without screen sharing.

🧒 Public Speaking (9–12 years old)

Children share a short speech or topic of their choice, prepared in advance or improvised live.

This session supports:

• structured thinking

• confident expression

• presenting ideas to an audience

Children may speak with or without screen sharing.

This is a non-competitive showcase.

Every participant receives:

• a trophy

• a certificate

👨‍👩‍👧 Important Parent & Performance Guidelines

🎵 Performance Format

• Each child has a maximum of 5 minutes on stage

• Performances must be age-appropriate

• Background music (if used) must be provided by parents in advance (MP3, MP4 or phone)

🚫 No On-Stage Assistance

• Parents and teachers are not allowed on stage

• Children perform independently to build confidence

👧 Child Supervision

• Children will be:

  • checked in by staff

  • guided on and off stage

  • supervised at all times

Parents may watch from the audience area.

This experience is designed to:

• encourage children to speak up

• build self-belief

• develop communication skills early

There are no rankings, no scoring, and no pressure — just a safe stage to try.

Families are welcome to enjoy the expo before or after the performance.
