🎨 Acrylic Painting Workshop – How It Works

A creative art experience for young artists

Designed as a guided artistic experience, the Acrylic Painting Workshop invites children to explore colour, creativity and self-expression in a fun, supportive studio-style environment.

This is not a competition.

It is a creative workshop designed to help children build confidence, express their ideas visually, and feel proud of something they create with their own hands.

Each child works independently while being guided by our friendly instructors.

🖌 What Happens in the Workshop

🎨 Step 1 – Discover Colours & Techniques

Children will be introduced to:

• basic colour mixing

• brush techniques

• how acrylic paint works

• how to layer colours for texture and depth

They will learn how artists use colours to express emotions and ideas.

This builds:

• creativity

• visual thinking

• fine motor skills

🖼 Step 2 – Create Your Own Artwork

Each child will:

• choose their colour palette

• plan their artwork

• paint freely with guidance

This encourages:

• independence

• decision-making

• confidence in personal expression

There is no “right” or “wrong” painting — every artwork is unique.

🖍 Step 3 – Finish & Take Home

Once their artwork is complete, children will:

• add final touches

• let their painting dry

• take it home as a keepsake
